The last one is the same as the first: unexpected, astonishing and awkward. There are hundreds of stories of first love. This is a story of the last one. A story of a romance unexpected, a romance that would never be if Helena and Jakov had not eloped like a pair of 17-year-old teenagers jumping over a balcony fence. Escaping from a retirement home. Life suddenly changes: they travel through roadless areas in a car that has no reverse, they dump their cell phones in a river, they say to hell with everything and like fugitives they take on one last adventure trying to make it on a ship Helena didn't board 60 years earlier. They haven't slept for three nights and three days, and thunder roars in the distance...

21:30 Music concert: La Colonie Volvox
La Colonie Volvox is a band whose music is constantly changing and shifting genres. Starting in 2002 as a mixture of avant-garde and improvised jazz fusion, and evolving into more narrative sonic concepts referring to sacred chants and political viewpoints. Such musical journeys, transcending from the traditional songs into the world music and embracing the ambient music within free jazz, were defined in their releases: Abstractology (2006, SJF Records), Wasteland (2006, SJF Records), Europa (2009, EGoEast Records), East West And Rest (2010, EGoEast Records), AEIOU (2012, EGoEast Records). The most recent musical exploration of La Colonie Volvox cultivates the acoustic sounds produced as a new expression that drifts from the melo-poetic motifs of the European legacy to the American blues culture or the Sufi music, intertwined with the Macedonian vocal and instrumental tradition. These resulted with an authentic ethno-global product that incorporates Macedonian, Occitan, French, Ladino, Bulgarian and Bosnian language. Love, as the essence of the troubadour song and its universal message is the fundamental idea integrated within their music.
Currently La Colonie Volvox is a sextet consisted of: Sasho Gigov – Gish (vocals, percussion), Kalina Velkovska (vocals), Predrag Ikonomovski (ac.guitar, vocals), Nenad Nedelkov (tambura, vocal), Dragan Stojkovski (tambura, vocals), Goce Naumov (percussion, vocals).
La Colonie Volvox has a prosperous concert experience with performances on notable festivals such as EXIT (Serbia), Interzone (Serbia), Bansko Jazz Festival (Bulgaria), Venice Biennial (Italy), Balkan Ante Portas (Belgium) etc.

Saimir and his younger brother, Vini are Albanian. They both try to integrate in the life of Thessaloniki a town in north of Greece in their own way. Saimir is engaged to a Greek young woman and works as a repairman in his father-in-law's repair shop. He tries his best to help his brother Vini become self-sufficient and respectful through work. Hurt and chap-fallen, he does not want to be dependent on Saimir and seeks to show to him that he can walk on his own. Trying to overcome the despair at a bar near the harbor, he gets acquainted with Ben, a tiny trafficker of human beings, who is closely related to the local Albanian mafia. Thus, the page of disillusioned Vini's life is turning. He earns easy money and lives in luxury, but in the meantime he discovers the nightmare of clandestine prostitution as well as the terrible destiny of many girls who have emigrated with the hope for a better life. He falls in love with Majlinda, a victim of prostitution, and will do his utmost to get her out of the claws of Keno, leader of the local mafia. High-minded and immature, he will seek the help of his brother Saimir and will pull him to the swirl of violence until the final drama…
