It All Ends Here (2024)
Rajko Grlić's film is his latest and reportedly final film, blending elements of a love story, crime-drama, and thriller. The film, which began principal photography on September 19, 2023, in Zagreb, Croatia, tells the story of a successful lawyer named Maks Pinter who faces a moral dilemma after helping a powerful client, tycoon Dinko Horvat, evade justice for the murder of two trespassers. Maks decides to seek revenge with the help of his former lover, Nina, despite the risks involved. The film premiered at the 71st Pula Film Festival in July 2024. The screenplay was adapted from Miroslav Krleža's 1938 novel "On the Edge of Reason" by Grlić and novelist Ante Tomić, marking their fourth collaboration. Runtime : 1h29min.
